Barbara & Ann have been close friends since lifetime and share a passion for interior design and decoration.

They both have a heart for entrepreneurship and during one of their cozy evenings where, over a glass of wine and  delicious homemade food, the idea came to create Barbanne together.

Barbara grew up under the wings of her mother who owned an antique store for many years, so the passion for furniture and interior design was adopted from her childhood.

She took the step and became a professional (and) owner of an interior store for more than ten years with her successful shop in the Kloosterstraat.
The Kloosterstraat has been the home of Antwerp antique stores for decades.

Ann also has a great sense of styling and interior design.
Her career started with importing and exporting handcrafted lighting from the Philippines and exclusive rattan furniture.

She started her own business :  Affiori Cado in Sint Niklaas with interior decoration, gifts, antiques,  old paint techniques, flower arrangement ....

Thereafter,  she traveled  the world and her interest and passion for beautiful objects, from other continents,  kept growing.

By creating their  collection of lamps and interior objects, they give others the pleasure of high-quality and attractive items that can beautify any home
