Meet Ann Mussche, founder of Barbanne

A Lifelong Passion for Style and Craftsmanship

Ann always had a great sense of styling and interior design.
Her career took off in the 1980s, importing handcrafted lighting from the Philippines and exclusive rattan furniture by the renowned Dutch designer Jan des Bouvrie.

During the 1990s, Ann founded her own business in Sint-Niklaas: Affiori Cado.

This creative hub combined interior decoration and antiques with gifts,

traditional paint techniques and bespoke floral arrangements.

Her subsequent travels around the globe only fueled her passion for

beautiful objects from different continents.

Today, by creating her own collection of lamps and interior pieces,

she shares that love for high-quality, atmospheric design -

helping others to bring beauty and character into their homes.
